Getting a few headshots prior to the ceremony is something couples definitely need to make time for. I love working with window light to make dramatic portraits.
Here are a few of my favorites from the 2016 season.
I love capturing photos of the process that takes place at the beginning of a wedding day.
The girls hanging out giggling. The guys joking around with each other.
It's an awesome experience to see the anticipation and anxiousness these couples feel leading up to the biggest day of the life.
To see a dad look at his baby girl in her wedding dress. A proud mom attaching her son's boutonniere.
Ann could not resist a peek at her future hubby as he was getting ready.
These two did a first look shortly after this photo was taken. More on that in a future blog post....
I'm quite sure this is my absolute favorite image from the whole season.
I loved this guy all day. Here, he's waiting for his mom to arrive so he can spend time with her as she gets ready. Nothing gets to me more than seeing the love between a mother and son. Except for maybe the love between a new family. They laughed and had the most special day together. Absolutely amazing.
Yesssss...I love dogs!!!
My plan to blog every wedding in the 2016 season was an epic fail...
I may try harder this year?
Anyhow...since my original plan did not work, I decided to just post a few of my absolute favorites from 2016. I'm going to do it in sections, and I promise to stick with it this time! Cause it's off season, and I really don't have tons to do right now...
I'm starting off with details...rings mostly lol. I love shooting the rings. I usually wait until the reception so I have time to sit down and do something creative.
