2 blog posts in a row about puppies!
I'm not gonna lie, I'm the type of person that will talk to a dog before I will talk to a human. It's only natural that I would want to photograph them as well.
I was so excited to meet Ezra & Cyrus. They are 2 beautiful bearded collies!
Cyrus was willing to give me a few poses.
Ezra just wanted to relax!
Puppy kisses are the best!
Candice and I share a love of Harry Potter, and we both are proud Hufflepuffs! So are the pups, as you can see!
I'm sure they are happy to sport their house colors!
If you know me at all, you know I'm crazy about animals.
I will talk to a dog before I talk to their owner. It's just who I am...
Needless to say, I love my dogs most of all. And they just turned 1. So they got a cake smash session, of course.
They weren't too thrilled about the tutu, but the cupcakes were a hit. And they must smell amazing, cause they keep trying to steal the extra ones off the counter...
We started with Emma, cause she is the calmer of the two....She refused to sit down with the tutu on lol... And she was not impressed with the crown.
Pheonix was next. She would only walk on her tip toes with that tutu on!
No crown for her, because she is a mover!

Grandvue Park in Moundsville West Virginia is a gorgeous venue!
Andrew and Allie opted for an outdoor ceremony. Can you blame them?
Grandvue has one of the best spots for golden hour and for sunset.
Both of which create some magical images.

Can you imagine getting married at Heinz Field?!
It was a pretty cool experience for me as a photographer, and I'm not much of a football fan.
Needless to say, this bride and groom are HUGE Steelers ' fans.
This first picture is one of my all time favorites. This little guy was such a sweetheart the whole day. There is no doubt he loves his mama. He's patiently waiting for her to show up. What a capture...
It was so much fun walking around the field and through the bleachers.
Some amazing night shots with Pittsburgh in the background. The tree is a bonus!
The Capitol Theater in Wheeling, WV provides such a unique experience.
They let us into the theater itself for pictures, which was so beautiful. And the shots outside the theater at night speak for themselves!
Lots of room for activities on the dance floor!
Their website is loaded with info! Check it out:

The Hayloft, located in Rockwood, Pa, provides a unique country setting. The grounds are just breathtaking, and the barn has a great rustic feel.
Sarah & Brett had their ceremony outside. I love the set up. They are literally surrounded by their loved ones.
I met up with the guys at one of the cabins at the venue. It was a perfect spot for them to get ready, just far enough away from the venue that no one was going to accidentally see anyone else.
Sarah got ready off site. I'm glad I was able to catch up with her before the ceremony started for some beautiful portraits!
I can't say enough about the "chapel"..I've never seen another one quite like it.
There were so many places for photos, I could of spent hours shooting.
And the bridal party was a blast to work with!
To the barn for the reception.
It's obvious the folks at The Hayloft take so much pride in what they do.
Everything was so well thought out, from the decorations to the lighting.
I quickly fell in love with this venue!
The grounds provide lots of space and some great locations for photos. The reception hall was set up perfectly, with plenty of room for dancing!
I got to spend a gorgeous fall day at Heaven Sent Farms last season. As soon as I pulled up to the venue I knew I hit the photographer's jackpot. It was simply perfect. The huge barn housed a breathtaking ceremony and reception.
The bride and groom did a fantastic job with decorating! I love the colors of a fall wedding!
The owners of the venue were so welcoming! They gave the couple free reign of the whole place, including their home so the girls would have a comfortable, roomy place to get ready.
Kaitlin was so laid back and easy going. When I got there, she was busy helping her flower girl get ready. Then her sister! She was so calm and collected. It was such a good vibe.
There is a special part to her dress, and that is in the sleeves that were added to it. The material that made them is from her mom's wedding dress. It matched perfectly, like it was just meant to be.
I love a good reflection shot!! I was so excited when I saw this mirror!
I met up with the groom for his photos at the barn after Kailtin was all ready.
Grooms and their mamma's always make me tear up....
The ceremony was wonderful, and just outside the barn doors was a perfect spot for family formals!
So many wonderful places for portraits!!
And now..party time!
I'm in love with all the lights and the bokeh!
I love ring shots! These ones are so unique!
And of course a few night shots! My faves!
