The walking pose makes its way into most of my sessions....I'm not even mad about it.
It's a great way to show off the scenery surrounding us, and we can get some great variations.
From engagement to wedding....
And some great ways to have some fun with it!
The best thing about the walking pose is that it almost always ends with a kiss.
I was excited when Matt got ahold of me and told me his plan. He was on it too, he even sent me a map with the area highlighted. Trust me, I needed that. If you know me at all, you know Pittsburgh is a bit intimidating to me. Luckily, I was able to bring along a helper..
It was fun waiting and sneaking around, trying to follow them without being noticed. I was sure it wasn't working, and she was wondering why these 2 weirdos were following them, pretending to take pictures of buildings.
Somehow, though, she didn't notice us until she already said yes! She was pretty surprised, I'm sure that goes without saying...
Lesa and I had been thinking of locations for her and RT's engagement shoot. I was stoked when she mentioned Cooper's Rock in West Virginia. It had been a few years since I had been there, and I was excited to be surrounded by some of the best Mother Nature has to offer. We decided on a time that would give us a chance to capture the sunset if we were fortunate enough to have one.
It was a bit windier and chillier than we expected, but the weather did not affect us at all. Our shoes may of gotten a little bit muddy while we made our way down some paths, but that's a super small price to pay for these portraits!
I can't wait to see what their wedding day brings!!
