Yep, a surprise engagement session.
Jordan had no clue what was happening during this shoot. It was just a "couples session", or so she thought. But John was being creative, and a bit sneaky, and we were in cahoots.
We met up in Jefferson and started shooting. Not gonna lie, I was a bit nervous so I was more awkward than normal...which is good because it kind of went along with our plan. I wanted Jordan to think I was a bit strange, so when it came time for our plan to hatch, it didn't seem suspicious.
I got some prisms in the mail the other day so I wanted to try them out. I'm pretty happy with the outcome on this one. They will take some practice for sure, but totally worth it.
I loved the trees in this area, and as soon as I pulled up to our location, I knew this was the spot.
We got silly here with the "hip bump" game, and after I got them giggling a bit, I thought the time was right. I told them my idea with the chalkboards, and asked each of them to write what they love most about the other. John wasn't doing that, of course. This was his moment.
Jordan wrote a lot, haha, so I had time to get some extra images here. This is right after we joked about how long Jordan's list was. I love the look on John's face, the second before he turns around with his chalkboard and a life changing question.
No doubt Jordan was surprised. John was super happy with himself lol.
A huge congratulations to these two!!
