I'm gonna mix things up a little bit and show a whole wedding on this post.
This was an amazing wedding in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. If you don't already know, driving in Pittsburgh scares me, but I made it to the hotel and got to ride on the party bus for the pictures downtown!
I started the day with Shannon and her girls, and Maddie the dachshund! She had an some amazing rings with her, from some important people in her life.
While Shannon was getting her hair finished, I headed over to meet with Yuan and his guys. They were a blast to hang around!
Shannon brought a lot of special things to the wedding, including her mother's wedding dress. This had a deep meaning to her and her family.
We headed up to the West End Overlook for a first look! I love when couples decide to veer from tradition and do these. They are able to just let go and be themselves and love one another without the audience. Except for me, of course. And the pictures are so worth it! I orchestrate what is going to happen, then back up and let the moments unfold.
Major thanks to the driver of the party bus! Without him, this would not of been possible! He dropped us off and circled around to pick us back up.
Shannon and Yuan had this whole thing planned to a tee.
We even had time to spare before the ceremony, so we headed back to the hotel to relax a bit.
Sometimes, people worry that doing that first look will take away any type of surprise or emotion from when the groom sees his bride for the first time at the ceremony. I think Yuan proves that this isn't the case at all.
